Where Invisalign genuinely wins

Adults with jobs, meetings and social lives. You straighten your teeth without anyone noticing, eat whatever you want, and — critically for our patients — the treatment travels: after one records visit your plan is digital, which is what makes the India model work so well.

Where braces genuinely win

Severe rotations, large root movements, significant skeletal discrepancies, and patients who know they won't manage 22-hour wear. Braces don't ask for discipline — they're bonded on. If your case is in this bucket, our orthodontists will tell you in the free assessment (see Am I a candidate?).

Where mail-order aligners win — and the catch

Price, and only price. The catch list is long: impressions you take yourself at the kitchen table, no X-rays (so root and bone problems go unseen), no attachments (so complex movements are impossible), and if tracking drifts, there's no doctor who has ever physically examined you. Dental associations in the US and UK have issued repeated warnings about unsupervised aligner treatment for good reason.

💡 The India insight: the honest reason mail-order companies exist is that Western in-clinic prices are painful. Treatment in India removes that trade-off — genuine Invisalign with a specialist, at close to mail-order money. That's the entire premise of our cost comparison.

Questions that decide it for most people

  1. Is my case simple or complex? Simple → any option works, pick on price and looks. Complex → Invisalign with a specialist, or braces.
  2. Will I actually wear trays 22 hours a day? Be honest. If not: braces.
  3. Do I want a doctor who has actually examined me? If yes, mail-order is out.

Still unsure? Send photos — a specialist will place you in the right bucket for free, and you'll get your exact India price in the same reply. And if the real question is whether any of this justifies the money, we wrote the sober version: is Invisalign worth it?
